    What hardware do you want to test? What is your OS and what security software? How much RAM do you have? How large a HD and how much of it is filled?

    There really isn't any software to speed up your computer, (beware of claims), but there are a lot of tweaks you can perform to do so, and often quite dramatically. How long does your machine take to boot up?

    Ya, get another pair of 512's or a 1GB stick, that'll do wonders! As for your hard drive, download the makers free utility. Perhaps it's as simple as reseating your cables.

    And use a program like Winpatrol to manage your start-up entries;

    I have only 11 items showing in my start-up, (not including hidden locations, leave those alone!).

    Do you physically have 2 HDs, or one partitioned into 2 parts?
