Hi i recently upgraded my motherboard from b450 tomahawk max to mag z570s and cpu from ryzen 5 3600 to ryzen 9 5900x gpu from 2060 super to amd 7900xtx. I also got a corsair 1000 gold psu to power these. I kept the same harddrives

When i startup my computer i get into bios but it wont go further i got green boot LED light on motherboard so no os detected but im using the old hdd that i was using before ( i cant remember the order they were in connection order but im sure they are the same)

Any suggestions? Will a clean install work from usb?

Go into the BIOS and change the boot order on the drives, or swap them on the mobo. You still might need to reload, changing that much hardware might cause a blue screen and other system instability.
That is not really an upgrade, that is a new computer...or just do the USB boot and fresh install...

If it's Win 10/11, and you have a Microsoft account, you should have a "digital" license, that may allow you to "install" Windows as often as necessary, but as said above, this is a whole new computer, not a simple "upgrade." MS does allow you to TRANSFER a license from one computer to another, but you have to "uninstall" it from the old computer before installing it on the new computer. It may be too late to do that now.
