I recently decided to heck w/ paying $90 or so for television when I can go online and for $10 or less (mostly free:-D) I can watch everything I want. I went down to my favorite computer store (Yeah MicroCenter) and asked questions. They recommended PC to Video EZ. Picked it up and got home and it doesn't have connections for co-axial. Was thinking about a converter box (have a few around house anyways). has anybody started doing anything like this. Does it work fairly well. (Not into HD yet as can't afford the upgrade hoping soon.:drool) Anything better I should know or anything anyone can impart so it is as easy to set up as I can would be helpful.
    Thanks Ya'll!

It really depends on what existing equipment you have. I'm assuming you're trying to watch on your existing TV. Is it an LCD or of the older, bulkier, vareity? Many of the newer screens will have a HDMI, VGA, or DVI input that is quite computer friendly. Does your TV have a yellow/red/white composite input? You could also run the video in through a DVD player or VCR. It really depends on what connections your TV and Computer already have.

On the older CRT tubes I never had much luck getting a good clear picture. On the new LCD screens the TV is essentially a large monitor, the quality is much better.

some pc's and some tv's have an S-video port. If yours does, you can just run an s-video cable to it, and there is also a cable that will plug into the speaker/headphone port on a pc and it has the red and white rca stereo plugs on the other end.
