pc will not boot

    inspiron 518-intel dual core. will not boot. all i get is an amber LED on mobo.

    If you're not getting the power light on the front or any fans spinning, the first suspect is the power supply. Try one you know works and see if it solves the problem.

    gman, I have a power supply tester, and it shows the power supply is working. I'm not getting power to anything. The LED is lighting up amber. I'll try another power supply though to see if I get any results.
