PC won't connect to internet

A half hour or so ago my PC suddenly lost its internet connection. I tried unplugging it from the modem, unplugging the power supply to the modem, restarting, replugging everything, and still nothing. All the lights on the modem (it's a cable connection) are blinking correctly, and when I plugged my Mac into it, it connected through the wired connection just fine (I made sure to turn off the AirPort so it didn't stick on the wireless)

It says the PC is connected to an "unidentified network" instead of some named one like it usually is. The network connection icon just shows the two computers - no blue dot showing it's connected, no red X or warning triangle. I've run the Windows diagnostics, that didn't fix anything.

Any tips on what to do next?

ping 127.1.1.1 and see if it responds

Also, do an ipconfig to see if you're getting an ip address

I'll keep that in mind in case it happens again, but oddly enough it reconnected itself after a couple hours. Strange thing.
