PC wont LOAD..HELP PLZ

Last night I got an infected file warning. I first clicked heal it and I thought it had, then about 2-3 hrs later it came up again so I clicked move to virus vault. As the night wore on I noticed my Rhapsody would only play some of my music ,,,HMMM
Then this morning I go to boot up and All I get is the black start screen, where you can see things loading and it stops with a message of we're sorry windows did not load completely...etc etc... then it gives me options for booting, *Normal,safe, safe with network, safe with command prompt , and the last best configuration...I tried all five and nothing it just restarts the cycle all over again and brings me back to that error multiple choice.

PLZZZZZZZZZZZ Help me

I am using a Windows XP

 

I can get into bios/cmos W/E but I am afraid of touching anything...I did find something was some key combo to start it I think ( cant remeber what it said) but it was shift +L+F12 and that didnt boot it either IT just sat there.

 

I guess Nobody knows what to do............

 

Make/model of machine? OS?

Do you have a recovery partition? Recovery disks?

You can't boot into normal or safe, but should be able to boot from partition/disk. But more info is needed.

Sometimes there are just so many questions coming in here that a few get quickly buried to the 2nd page. :major

 

Win XP Dont know M/M as it was made for my dau and her husband by a friend of theirs. ( She gave it to me when they got another one by him) The only disk I have with it is a winfast utility disk says it has drivers/chipset/ etc....I dont know if the OS Software is on here ( OEM?)

I cant boot into any mode it is stuck in a Loop...

 

Make/model of the machine should be right on the case or tower.

 

The Case says Side Winder, thats all

 

Are you given any other options like "recovery" at boot-up.

Else, I doubt that you have one. I think you are going to need an XP install disk, unless someone has another idea here.

 

NO the choices of safe mode and safe with the options and last good configuration....WHere would I get a WXP DIsk? I don't think Best buy sells them anymore.

 

Maybe try Avira AntiVir Rescue System. Might at least be able to get the machine to a point where you can boot it, then go from there to find problem and eliminate.

You'll have to be able to burn a CD. Then on your inflicted machine you will have to get to the bios and set the machine to boot from CD.

 

OK.. I will check BB this week, IF not would you know who else might have one ( Besides Ebay)?
