I had to install a malware remover after catching a trojan, which worked just fine, but when it asked me to restart the computer it will only start in recovery mode and stay stuck on the screen saying "Error C0000034 applying update operation 44 of 62501". If I press F8 when restarting all the options require me to log on as "adinistrator" (the spelling error worries me as well), and it will not accept the password. Have been unable to turn on the computer since without it either getting stuck or at the menus requiring "adinistrator" password. What should I do! http://www.sevenforums.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

You most likely still have malware on your system.
You need to carry out all the steps in this guide: Read & Run Me First

When you have done all the steps of that guide that you can do, but not before, start a new thread in the Malware Removal Forum and wait for help. An expert there will help you. Only post the logs and scans in that forum, and not this one.
    Good luck

I can't do any of the actions described as my computer won't even turn on.

You need to try the options to get into SAFE MODE.
They may give you further advice but you may have only a full reinstall of windows as an option.

You clearly didn't read the description of my problem. I can't get into safe mode. That is the problem. I can't turn it on in ANY mode because it either gets stuck on the above dezscribed scene, or it asks me for an "Adinistrator" password. Safe mode isn't an availbale option, I have obviously tried that every possible way before seeking help on a forum.

I read as best I could.
You will now just have to wait for any further suggestions in that other forum.
If you have another system available, or a Hard Drive, you could connect it up to this broken system's hard drive and try to retrieve any important data.

Our IT technician gets back on Monday so I am hoing he can do that. In the meantime I was trying to see if I could find a solution, but the problem seems quite invasive as even the windows repair options seem "fake"

If it is a work machine then yes it is probably best to let their professional IT person deal with it.

Yeah if it is a work related computer don't even mess with it.Let the It guy's handle it that's what they are there for.

If i have any computer for my work i never mess with it.Not my job.

When a machine will not or cannot boot to the OS, a rescue disk is usually the best option. Kaspersky Rescue Disk is my usual "go to".

However, as it is a work computer, someone gets paid to fix those.
