I am wanting any suggestions about computer repair training. Where to look for a good training scool or program that is not a ripoff or a joke.:confused

 

Sitting in one of the best classrooms going right now.
Just read, study, and learn, learn, then learn some more.
Need to know what to do before getting to the "hands-on" stuff.

 

Are you talking about physical repair or malware??

 

Hi there MoRan, mate I used my first computer when I was 16 months old (Dad's an old school IT tech), ever since I've been tinkering etc and most of my knowledge either dads taught me or ive taught myself by tinkering and experience. I got a great boost in IT Security knowledge in High School when I was emplyed by our IT Admin to continuously test the schools security, I would break it he would fix it and show me how to fix it etc. Then I had another great experience when I pestered my local IT shop for a job, and worked there for a few years, after finishing work there I did my own little on-the-side IT repairs thing for a bit and now I manage the IT Department in a retail store, not much but the knowledge gains are great.

And as hrlow said, the forum you are on now can teach you great amounts if your willing to sit, read, learn and ask.

Exactly how far does you current knowledge with computers go?
