    hi,

this is my first time posting but i need help. My PC is infected with a virus and even thought norton antivirus detects it it cannot remove it. I went to the Norton site and followed their instructions on how to remove it and it did not work. So i found your site and followed the instructions on the READ AND RUN ME FIRST document. i have run all the scans and it has removed some cookies and identified spyware but no luck with the virus in question. Norton identifies the virus as KBD251.dll. so i will try and attach the logs from the scans i have done and hope i can get some help on this.

    Thanks.

    hi,
yes i ran all the scans including norton in safe mode. I ran the online scans from normal mode though as i had difficulty connecting via dial-up in safe mode. i also ran teh hijackthis in normal mode. i will try the trojan remover and see what the result is. thanks.
