pci device

    Hi everyone

    I have formated my computer hand now I have no sound

    I got 2 ? PCI DEVICE in device manager
    I had no internet connection to but I was able to fix that I am doing all that I can think of and nothing is working
    I am now running windows XP pro SP3

    I have a ACER AM5200-E5510A

    here is the report from evrest

    The ATI Hd driver rear output for the audio does not work every thing seeams to be fine but still no sound

    Another member is having sound issues with a different model of Acer, but the sound chip is the same (ALC888) and the chipset is a different AMD, but they use the same driver. So, visit this thread and follow the steps there, and you should have audio before you know it!
