Pci-e Mini Adapter

I have a dell mini 910, the hard drive i am using is a kingspec ssd

It seems that mine is a ''pata'' ssd, and i want to use it in my thin client.
I don't use the laptop much anymore and i am just booting an OS from the sd card slot so i could use the ssd for my thin client.

However it seems i need another device adapter for it to be read in another (newer) laptop, or desktop. I bought a pci-e mini to sata adapter however no device reads this at all and it may be because its a ''pata'' ssd. I can't seem to find an adapter for i can use this ssd in a another desktop.

The adapter i have works fine with other mini pci-e ssd , it just seems that ''pata'' ssd is not compatible with it

Does anyone know of one that would convert it to a sata with the standard pins used to hard drives?
