PCMCIA TV Tuner

Hi,

Can anyone explain to me how does this PCMCIA TV Tuner works? Can you really watch TV in your computer? Do you need antenna, and what channels do you get? Does any one use one or had experience with it. Please share....Thanks!

 

yes its possible to watch record etc tv on your pc..
depends on the type of card (aver,hauppauge) find a product number/name on the card -- then go to ther site and dl the appropriate drivers tuner programs etc--

If it is a already installed product chances are it has all this installed already

The card I found was KWorld NBTV PCMCIA TV Tuner - KW-NBTV-100. My laptop is a Passrio with 1.6GHz M processor. It has 60 gig HD and 512 MB Ram. I do not know my graphic card size. Can you explain, what channels I can watch? Only local or all channels. Are their monthly fees for using this service? Thanks!
