Peachtree Accounting Software

Good day to all!

I am having an issue with installing Peachtree Accounting software. Does anyone have an experience with this software?

 

Can you be more specific about the issue? Are you getting an error message? What exactly happens when you try to install it? What are your computer specs? There's no such thing as too much information when trying to diagnose a computer problem from a remote location. It's akin to asking your doctor to diagnose an illness by calling him on the phone, the more information you give the better.

 

Im installing on a Dell Latitude D505 laptop 30GB HD 1.3 Intel Mobile Centrino Processor 256 MB RAM running XPpro with SP2 installed. I am not getting an error message it just hangs at 94% on install. The bad thing is this is the only machine in the lab that is having issues. Its a fresh image for the computer with current windows updates and AV updates. I tried Peachtree's website with little success with this particular issue.

 

I found the problem. Evidently one of MS's latest updates was causing a conflict with the install shield software for Peachtree. I uninstalled the last batch of updates i did and the software installed correctly. Has anyone else ever heard of this happening?
