Hi,if anyone out there has this program installed-----------is it worth paying $44.00 for it even though windows has one built in for free?
May have to pay for yearly renewals also.
    Thanks fo any information

I would use the built in defragmenter on your computer, unless you are having problems with it.

Is there a trial version of PERFECTDISC 7, that you could try ? If there is then use the trial version and see :)

IMO perfectdisk is worth the money- And I have tried them all.

it's worth it because of the smart-placement method it uses, makes later defrags much faster, and minimizes boot-time.

give it a try and see.

remember the first time you run it, it will take a while, but after that, it will be much faster.
