Hello everyone, today I bring to you a google chrome does two things,
    1. Redirects searches from the address bar
    2. Does not play flash video (or) loads partly and erratically in a way that is unusable

I followed the (chrome redirects) page instructions as well as the malware removal instructions but the problem remains. It does not affect my other browsers (IE 7 and a Comodo's chrome alternative)

    win 7 64 os

    Mbamtools: Access denied (run admin)
combo fix (srry I didn't write it down a command was invalid)

you wouldn't happen to have an alternative method to the flash drive would you? sadly I don't have access to one, and while they are inexpensive...with out a job I can't spend anything. Is it something in the boot drive? If its going to be very difficult I can back up my favorite stuff on a couple of dvds laying around and just start over.

Follow the OTL instructions and skip the FRST part.

    • Right-click OTL.exe And select " Run as administrator " to run it. If Windows UAC prompts you, please allow it.
    • Copy and Paste the following code into the textbox. Do not include the word Code

    • The report should appear in Notepad after the reboot. ATTACH that report in your next reply.

Please click Start, Run, and enter cmd and click OK. This will open a command prompt window. Enter the below commands at the command prompt each followed by the enter key. The bold black are commands. The purple is merely informational.

    • cd \MGtools <-- this changes to the MGtools folder and the prompt should change to C:\MGtools>
    • nwktst<-- this will try to run all one scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
    • GRK64 <-- this will try to run all one scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
    • SN64 <-- this will try to run all another scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.

    Is there an MGLogs.zip now?
