pesky recurring zipfiles!!!

hi!!

hope someone can help me!!

I split up a file too big for a friends e-mail using winrar. I forgot to designate
the "destination directory(no big deal)" so the smaller zip files all went to my desktop, again, no big deal but not where I would have chosen. so I e-mailed the files and then got rid of the files cluttering up my desktop, everything seemed to work just like I planned!! so I thought!!

here's the problem!!!

everytime I restart my computer,,,those zipfiles keep reappearing on my desktop!!

anybody have any experience with this??
suggestions??
solution??
