phishing

    ?? M$ has downloaded something about anti phishing. is that OK?? also whilst i'm searching for re-assurance, somehow, or someone has downloaded 'the weather channel', which appears interesting, if rather unnecessary. is there any reason i should get rid of it? much aloha

    Please see this link for a description of phishing. I'd say it's a good thing; it's about the only feature I'd say that is good in IE7 (although, I doubt its effectiveness)

    As for the weather network, a few of our users here have it installed, and besides resource consumption (which only matters if you're tight about it), I can't see any harm in it.

    I installed the MS IE7 software update for the phishing issue. Probably a good update to have for the long haul with IE7. After installing, you'll notice the update in your control panel/addremove list.
