I know some of you are very good at working with pictures, so I am coming here for help. I have some pictures of my children that I have scanned into computer. I have the day off and would like to play around with putting different pictures together, adding different backgrounds, cropping and adding other images, etc.....

What are some good, free, EASY programs I could try?

    Thanks
    Gal

It's the bit about "free" that I struggle with here gal. The free ones aren't usually that great.

Out of the graphic apps that are free, these are some of the ones I would concider good/ok, that will do cut/crop/editing

    IfanView
Paint.NET ( actually very good, even allows layers to be used like PaintShop Pro and Photoshop )

    The GIMP
XNView ( a fav of mine for quick editing )
    PhotoPlus ( Serif Freeware )

    Thanks for the ideas.

I tried to install my Printmaster on here, but for some reason it freezes up my computer, so was looking for a free program.

I will try some of these.

    Thanks again!
