Photos

Whether I use Paint, Paint 3 D or Photos as the default app, when I see the picture or photo I have produced or cropped, it has the picture within a lot of white surroundings not just the photo.
Is that the way it should be or am I doing something wrong?
I have Windows 10 1909, and iPhone XR.

I found when printing,it came out as the cropped size, no white background.
I save my cropped version in my Microsoft office, ,by clicking the ok button on the right pane , and choosing office- you can save it in ant program you wish -once you click ok it will show-, I tend to set printer on preview, and can see photo before printing.

 

Perhaps when applied such as printing the white is not there as in you case.
However I have MS Office 2019 Home and Student and I'll see if this can do what you did.
So you save to office by clicking your photo app and click upper right OK to save to an app like office?Please correct me if I am wrong.

 

I open the picture in my office 2010----(right click-open with- Click up top of the resulting page on picture- click crop, then adjust as one does, Click then on the right , about half way down, I get an ok button -I click this, then I click the upper left file button, and save as.........,then I click file print......Works for me.
I am sure you can use it with other programs , in a similar fashion-I have not played with photos for a while in other programs, but Microsoft office always did enough for me.
I have had photo editing programs in the past, but not needed them for some time.

 

I appreciate all of your instructions. I used to have 2010 and now have 2019 . I like 2010 better but I thought it was not be supported any longer. I will try what you have suggested and see how things work out. Thanks again.
