Photoshop CS4 Keeps Crashing

Hi, Geeks.

Photoshop CS4 running on a Dell Inspiron 1750 running Windows 7 keeps crashing. I have:

Attempted a Reinstall of the program
Tried to uninstall downloaded fonts (I can't find them all)

I have not really an idea where to start. When I try to unistall the suite, it hangs at the "Setup" window and will not uninstall. I tried Revo Uninstaller with the same results. Messy.

So, as it turns out... I just had to go to:

Edit > Preferences > Type , and uncheck the "Font Preview Size" box.

I really to prefer to have my fonts shown to me in GIANT size, but it looks like I'm just going to have to settle. And that's alright as long as my billion dollar program actually works. It's just surprising to me that Adobe it all its autonomy cannot fix this. I found that it happens in the latest CS6 as well.
