i apologise to the Major i was not aware of what i had to say here. i was given by Legacy a laptop Leveno G550 because the desktop i had was just exacerbating the pain. they usually just clean the outside windows once a year [blame game belongs to me - i don't ask for anything - love being independent]...photoshop/lightroom did work on the desktop, but it lives in the garden shed now.....so here we go. you know the name...runs Windows & Premium 64bit - 8GB it has been checked out & is working beautifully, but i need to update the 'video card' as Mobile Intel (R) 45 express chipset family (Microsoft corp) WDDM11 not compatible - all foreign to me - all help gratefully accepted.

again i apologise to MAJOR ATTITUDE...hope this is better.

I presume you mean the laptop runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Go to the Lenovo Support site, enter whichever number they request and go to Drivers and downloads. There you should find the Graphics driver for your particular laptop. If that driver works, do not attempt to update it (except from the Lenovo site). "If it ain't broke, don't 'fix' it."
