Well, there is this funny thing in my Add/Remove programs, ImageFox. When I want to uninstall it, it says it will install some program called PicaView.
I remember somewhere on this forum was a list of things like that that look like installed software but are actually malware or something like that and can be uninstalled through Control Panel.

Any idea what this ImageFox/PicaView is? It sounds not right to me, but before I uninstall it, should I and is it anything of what I mentioned above?

    Hi xferla,
    Welcome to the Malware Forum!

This is a tool which you can use when you open things in Windows Explorer which allows you to preview them, and do some editing. Try right-clicking on an image in Windows Explorer (like a jpg file) and then go to Open with and see if either of these names you've mentioned is on the list. If the software is running, that's where it should appear. I don't think there is any danger in your trying it out to see what it is. The question is more, where did it come from?
