Nice porta-potty...you miss that detail when looks over the plans?

 

Actually, that is the smartest thinking ever! You grab the paper, do your business and then drop the paper in the recycle bin. An efficiency expert must have been behind the design
On a serious note, it is a beautiful home. I'd be excited also.

 

Probably saved them a lot of money on plumbing.

Neat house Roger. I hope all three of you will be very happy there. A first home is always exciting!

 

LOL...I somehow knew there would be comments about the porta pooper!!!!

And that is my niece in the photo, on the stairs. She said she was scoping out the best layout fro a slumber party!! OOooh boy!!!

The best thing about it, is the school they are building in the back yard along with a fire department on the other side of that, and the clubhouse (with a rather large pool) is only about a block away!!!! And the grocery store isn't even a mile away!!!!

Only bad experience I had with a new house is the actual land becomes a clay pit until you landscape and plants become established.

I'm confused.... Each townhouse has 2 double garages? It looks like 4 parking spots per townhouse from the front pictures.....

 

There are 4 units in a building, along with a double car garage for each unit. The end units are side ways, with the front door around the corner.

Well...there's a fortunately and an unfortunately, in that situation...fortunately, we do not have to ever shovel snow, mow the yard, all the landscaping is taken care of, and there is no charge to use the clubhouse for a private party!! Unfortunately, that adds another $100.00 to the house payment...called an association fee. But hey...guess you gotta sacrifice to gain, huh!?!?

I'd love a porta potty built in to my bed, along with a computer, fridge and wife, so I never have to get up.

 

Careful there. a wife would INSIST that you get up.

 

Like Lev said, your first home is always exciting. There is also a saying, "Once you own a house, you always have something that needs to be done".
