Okay, well..my parents have an older computer, with a Pentium II in it and its been misbehaving lately. It acts as if the ram is bad, but it doesnt make sense because I just replaced it. I get a BSOD at random that speaks of parity errors...and it likes to run extremely slowly from time to time as well.

Is there a utility out there that I can stress test the ram with to see if that is where the problem is, or do I have to go buy some new and see if it fixes anything? My mom wanted me to check and see if there is any possible way somebody sells new old PII motherboards. I told her fat chance, but I guess anything is possible. Living at home is awesome.

    Thanks

BTW, the system is a PII 450 with 512MB of PC100 RAM, a 32MB GF2 MX videocard running on an old IBM 440bx(I think) motherboard. The system runs on XP professional (and does so rather well...or at least until lately).
