Ping reduction freeware

Title. I'm using WTFast and it's superb performer, but I got 7 days left of the free usage before it starts telling me to subscribe, and I'd like to avoid that.

I could get used to downloading and installing WTFast monthly if it refreshes this free period, but if there's a ping reduction freeware without that hassle, I'll take it.

WTFast reduced my ping from the 90-150 range to 50-80 or so, if that helps.

 

So what does that reduction get you? Just curious.

 

What you're describing is against the rules if you read the EULA, a trial is a trial, if you want the software you should buy it. I doubt there is going to be any freeware versions, unlike like 'faster' programs (snake oils) this is a service like VPN and someone has to pay for the infrastructure.

 

Ok, if I'm stuck with buying, what would you suggest? I looked up quite a few, all claim to have the same results. TBH I'd rather pay a one-time fee over monthly subscriptions since I'm on a budget.

I also found this while doing some searching (http://www.lagbuster.com/compatibility/) and the price is nasty, but it doesn't look more than a 1-time fee. Can anyone confirm if, long-term thinking, this Lagbuster would save me money than if I subscribed to something like WTFast?
