Piratical Netsonic and RedVnetwork

I have been using Netsonic for some time and find it the most annoying, obstrusive, sneaky, underhanded, dishonest piece of software I've ever had.

But I liked it for the speed as I live so far out in the desert I get a landline hookup at 26.4 max, thus netsonic. Can anyone suggest another piece of software that does the same thing, or will keeping the urls in IE's cache do the same thing. Just don't clean it out?
