Re: Player ( Windows Media Player )

    Hi

What Windows version and Service Pack you using?
What version of Windows Media Player?

But check in Tools > Plugins for a DSP one, as it can add echo to music.

Also test using the old WMP2 built into all Windows versions as a legacy option click Start > Run > MPLAYER2.EXE and load up a track and see if it still echos, if it does then look at your soundcards properties in Control Panel for echo or DSP options

DSP = Digital Sound Processing and its where you can add effects like a concert hall, jazz club etc

I assume this was posted by you http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php?topic=105011.new
Unfortunately, you never mention what "this program" is
so we have no idea what you may have installed.
Note there is no program, as far as my searching has gone, called duet echo.

Is this something inside a music program? Like your messing with a feature in media player. Is it a program itself? Where did you get it? Can you print screen to show us what it is? Google aint coming up and I never heard of it. You can open up the add/remove list and go to the item that you are speaking of, and press "print screen" and it will copy your computer screen and you can open up paint or photoshop or something and paste that picture you just copied of your screen into it and load it into forums for us to view.

Merged the two threads on the same topic to keep all info together.

In media player go to the Now Playing button find the small drop down
menu arrow - click more options - devices and speakers - properties
You should be able to see a range of options there one of which is
likely to be something like "Audio effects" - check for something
similar to Cathedral Hall or other processing settings.
