its actually not that hard. he did it the hard way tho to get that effect. you can always take two pictures, one where you are there, and one where you are, then overlay them and make the one with you on it transparent using photoshop or something like that.

i've always wanted to try it.

And its not the "hard" way, doing it with photoshop doesn't look nearly as cool
If you look at the EXIF data (I'm not sure if I've nuked it...) you'd be able to see I used an exposure of 15 seconds
