I have been hit by the HSA and perhaps a few other spy/homepage hijack problems. I have followed your directions twice now for the removal of the HSA. Tricky bugger. Anyway, I think I'm good now. If you could, please take a look at my last logs. Thanks, Scott

I'm not sure which procedure you mean you followed but you did not do all this one:

about:Blank and HSA Hijacker - Simplified Removal

because the first couple of steps mentioning the standard cleaning sticky and the how to install HJT were not run (at least not properly). You are still infected.

Please follow ALL the steps below that you have not run:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

The below steps I know you did not follow properly because HijackThis is not installed properly.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Okay! After completing them, post a new HJT log (make sure you have installed HJT properly) and then do not reboot or power down your PC. Wait for the next instructions before you power down or reboot, otherwise the infection could mutate making any steps I give you a waste of time.
