Hello there. Did you forget to attach the remaining two logs that I will need to also see? Those being Combofix and MalwareBytes

Attach those and we can continue.
    Thanks

Not seeing much to do here. What malware problems were you having as you didn't leave me any description of what was/is going on.

    1) Please go to Add or remove programs and uninstall the following software:

    • Java(TM) 6 Update 11

    2) I see you have PCTools website added to your Trusted Zone. It is not recommended to have any site in your TZ.

    3) Use Windows Explorer to find and manually delete the following left overs from running smitfraud removal tools:

    4) Now reboot your machine and install the most current and up to date version of Java available here at the below link:

    Java Runtime 6

    5) Now Run Ccleaner!

    6) If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommed you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\combofix folder from combofix (if it exists)
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

I've completed your list. The internet is still slow. My computer takes a long time to start (I use Start-Up Inspector) and the icons are slow to respond when clicked. I'm not sure how to correct these problems. I did manage to mess something up and can't use "restore" to fix it.
Under "remove programs" then under "remove components" I deleted internet explorer. Now I can only get online from "programs" and it will only run with add-ons disabled. Any ideas? Maybe now is a good time to switch to "Mozilla FireFox"?
I also have the following questions (if it's to much for me to ask I certainly understand and will try to find the questions elsewhere):
    1) I downloaded pctool for my antivirus, but I also kept SuperAntiSpyware. I think I must need a real-time (?) spyware for protection?
    2) How can I tell which add-ons I need and don't need?
    3) Most of the things on my computer I never use. Is it possible to hire someone to remove what isn't necessary for me or is that pointless?

Thank you SOOO much for your time. You have been a BIG help.

I tried to get online through "yahoo games" under "all programs" and my add-on disable problem didn't show up.......

Is the iexplore.exe file still in the Windows folder? If so you can recreate the shortcut and put it in the Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder. Or just download it again.

Yes a real time time blocker would be ideal. Superantispyware will provide real time protection of you pay for it, as would Malware Bytes.

without knowing what your add ons are I have no clue :)

I would either work this out in the software forum if you need assistance, or simply nuke off what you no longer use.

Would you be willing to look at my add-ons?
