Please Help Im Out Of Ideas

Right ... I had 2 laptops running on wireless (Wireless G router - via a motorolla SB5100 modem) But recently got a new computer (With windows vista - dont know if this makes a difference) connected this straight from the modem and the internet worked imediatley with out having to install the blueyonder disk - which i found weird !! but anyway when i went onto the laptop to get onto the internet it was no longer working! But it still says that the internet is connected but nothing internet related will work!
iv tried everything i can think of but cant seem to figure out what the problem is!
o yeah and forgot to mention when the leptop is connected straight from the modem the internet still does not work?

iv been told that because we did not install the blueyonder disk first it has been known to pull in a different ISP .. i feel this may have happened because when you have blueyonder theres certain things which you have on your computer e.g. blueyonder instant support tool but there is nothing like this on the computer?

anyway sorry for blabbering on so much but i just need you helppp ! and got told to try here as there are some real computer wizzes on here

come on sure someone on here will know what the problem is ... also i have tried ringing the blueyonder help line but it wont work

 

You need to be patient and allow more than 7 minutes for people to respond. Everyone here volunteers their time and it may simply be a case of the person with that knowledge is not currently logged on.
