please help ive killed my mobo

Hi, to start off with am a major gamer which i built my own system is 2gb of ram, a p35c-ds3r gigabyte motherboard, an 8800gt but a intel celeron D cpu @ 3.06.
After getting annoyed with my intel celeron i bought a E2160 dual core off of ebuyer.com, whn it arrived i installed it; the monitor never came on and the fan on my 8800 went like a hairdryer went really fast and loud, maybe 3-4mins later the system will cut off. After resetting the cmos and no effect my friend said it was DOA (dead on arrival). As ebuyer emailed me whn i sent it back and confirmed it was doa. They sent me a new cpu. (e2160). Putting it into my system again, it still never worked, no display on my monitor and fan on 8800 going louder etc. Although whn i put in my old celeron that works fine in the motherboard going into the bios and at the overclocking section it said my cpu was running at 1.80ghz (the e2160 is 1.80). Thinking this was a bios issue last night i installed the lastest gigabyte bios. Restarting my pc the update went well. I had version f10 of the bios and my celeron could enter the desktop, so everything was ok yeah ?. Well installing my E2160 the monitor finally came out but froze on the bios screen. (where is says a gigabyte pxxx-xxxx-xx etc etc). Resetting the cmos neverworked so i went to forum it. Come back 10mins later and to see that whn i turn on the pc with the e2160 inside it no longer freezes at the bios it makes that loud noise and has no display on the monitor (once again). Leaving it for tomorrow (today) i turn on my system (with the intel celeron the cpu that works) i find a big fat blue screen on death the (stop : 0x000000:24 the hard drive issue one) well heres my problem, am scared i have killed my motherboard because i cant load up windows as soon as i hit the windows is loading i get the blue screen. I tried to format but whn i put the cd in forsome reason the keys on my keyboard dont work i cant use the arrow keys . (although i can get into the bios).Ive reset the cmos still nothing.So i cant enter windows and i cant format WHAT DO I DO! ?help please

 

This doesn't really help at all, but did you check with GigaByte to make sure the E2160 was compatible with your mobo before you bought it? It may be that it isn't compatible and won't be no matter what you do.... hopefully the mobo is under warranty. Can you boot to a CD?

 

hi i was able to format now everything is ok. But that e2160 processor doesnt work. Yes the E2160 is compaible with my motherboard.
my bois version is f10, the cpu was compable since f9
