Please help, loaded win 7 on HD connected to sata 1, then switch cable to sata0 doesn

I wanted to setup my computer with a raid array and had a hard drive connected to sata 0 and sata 1. The HD to sata 0 had a malfunction and it was just after that I found out my MB doesn't support raid array (1156 MB gigabyte h55m-sv2). Well, duh, I guess I should have checked into that before I got the HDs. I thought that all the MB would support that by now. I any event I went ahead and loaded win7 64bit on the other HD that was connected to sata 1. After loading in everything, I then decided to take out the other HD and then I just reconnected the HD to sata 0 from sata1 ( sata 0 has faster speed then the other sata connections on this MB. Now when I went to boot up windows7 won't start up. It's like there is no OS on it. I checked the HD by using a linux live cd and all the files are on it, so why won't it just boot up. I really don't want to have to take my system apart again just to reconnect the HD back to sata1. I would prefer to have the faster speed of sata 0 connection. Anyone have any idea why it won't boot?

I have moved this thread to the hardware forum so you can get more appropriate responses.

Are you sure that the hard drive that was connected to SATA0 had the fault, and not the actual port?

Have you checked the BIOS to make sure that the computer is trying to boot from the correct hard drive?
