    Hello!

    I've slowly made my way through Read Me & Run Me Malware Removal Guide and still have unwanted programs hijaking internet explorer and generally slowing the computer down. I've attached 4 logs here and will attach more in an additional post if you request. I can't seem to find the Malwarebytes Log but can keep looking if you want. Thank you in advance for your help! :)

    Rescan with HitmanPro.

    Choose to Delete these all the files that are detected.

    Afterwards, click the Next button.
    HitmanPro may want to reboot the PC in order for the changes to take affect, please do so.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).Make sure that you watch for the license agreement for TrendMicro HijackThis and click on the Accept button TWICE to accept ( yes twice ).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * Hitmanpro log
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    Hi Tim-

    Thanks so much for helping me out! Since I first sent my initial message, I went into the add/delete section and delted several programs that my 11 year old downloaded, wondering if they were part of the problem and the computer has been running better.

    I went ahead and followed your instructions and the logs are attached. I forgot to save the first Hitman Pro log (It deleted 3 adware issues- all that was found) and when I ran it again for a log, nothing was found. When I ran MGtools, the Hijack This never appeared and so I ran this program twice (and still never anything for me to accept appeared).

    As mentioned, the computer seems to be running much better. I am willing to do more if you see more work to be done. I sincerely appreciate your help!

    Everything looks good.

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:

    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.
    2. Go back to step 6 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
      related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

    Malware removal from a National Chain = $149
    Malware removal from MajorGeeks = $0
