Please Help Matshita dvd-rom sr-817 driver

    I have a laptop and as far as i know this is the dvd-rom drive in it. But something happened and the drive was deleted. Is there anywhere i can download a new driver so that i can use the cd drive again?

    try this, start, right click my computer, properties, hardware, device manager, you should see you drive, right click and uninstall, restart and windows will reinstall it. More than likely your driver is still there. ed
