please help me cant get keyboard to work , or install and run malwarebytes

hi again and hope u can help me here,.
I hve a dell dimension 1300 , and my problem is that when i switch the pc on it recognises the keyboard , but when it boots into windows then the keyboard wont work, in device managers it does show a "keyboard" tab and show a hid keyboard device with expclamation mark , when i try to install the driver it then shows problem installin device ,so i cnt use the keyboard, i have tried dell page for updated drivers to no avaail, also when i install mallware antimalware and run it it dissapears and uninstalls , also does the same with spybot search and destroy ,..can anyone help me here please , as im pulling my hair out as i have een at it for days ,.thanx for any replys
