Please help me someone!

O.K. let me start off by saying I read that tutorial thing and done everything on it, but I still have like 30+ programs running in the background. I know some of these are spyware. My tools keep detected them and deleted them, but they keep coming back. So, the tutorial said if that didn't work to post a log file here. So, could someone please help me. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You really do need to follow the tutorial verbatim and mention if any of the steps cannot be run and why, you have HiJackThis installed in the exact location we advise in the tutorial not to in C:\Documents and Settings\john\Desktop\HijackThis.exe

would there be a reason you could not run, Windows Defender and Panda Scan all mentioned in sections 5&6?

I noticed you installed and ran Bitdefender but didnt attach the scan results, did it find nothing?

Please do follow the guide closely as it saves alot of time for both you and us in helping remove your malware infection... I know it takes a while to run but it's really worth doing this correctly if the malware is to be removed speedily from your PC, so please do re-run the guide and attach the relevent logs.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

Panda Scan

Yes I did run bitdefender and it found nothing cause I ran everything else first. Like Norton Antivirus and such. They found virus's and spyware, and after I ran other programs they found nothing. Like Bitdefender! Still though I have 30 programs running in my background and none of the programs are detecting anything. I know I don't have 30 legitimate programs running in the background cause I dont reconize half of them. Like I said Bit defender didn't find anything as other also didn't. That is why I never attached those other log files. Thanks for the help anyways.

EDIT: Also I have msmsgs.exe running in the background but I disabled it. Whats up with that?

You must follow the directions that Halo gave to you completely. We cannot help you if you do not follow our instructions.

Attach the three requested logs. While it is possible that Bitedefender did not find anything, you can still post the log showing that. Also Panda always shows soemthings and in your first HJT log, I can see Panda was never run.

Also you must follow step 7 of the READ ME properly. Last time you ran HijackThis you were using MSconfig and you did not have HijackThis installed properly.

Also the programs showing in your first HJT log are valid!
