Please help me to find a game...

I had a lovely game on my previous computer that was stolen by two unwelcome "visitors" last year in March, and to add insult to injury, the filth also walked off with my backup HD, so I lost everything, but EVERYTHING and had to start building up a database from scratch.

I had a game which my little great-grandson loved to play - it was a garage full of cars, trucks, buses, and you had to get a certain vehicle out of this garage by moving all the other vehicles around to allow the marked vehicle to leave the garage. The other day when he was visiting me, he asked me whether he could play this game, but much to his (and my) disappointment, I couldn't find any reference to it any longer.

Anyone on these forums know which game I'm referring to? As I said, the game starts off with some easy moves. but as it progresses, and more vehicles fill the garage, it becomes more tricky to move them around to get the specific vehicle out.

Will be grateful if someone could please help?

Aww Kim, that sucks. It makes me angry when people take things that other people have worked for because they are too lazy/stupid/whatever to get a job and get the items themselves :|

About the game, was a downloaded one or a game played on the internet?

 

What you describe is a game similar to Klotski: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klotski - a link there describes a game called Rush Hour: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rush_Hour_(board_game) Could it be a PC version of that?

 

Hello, Dyamond, it was an internet game, but for the life of me I can't even remember what exactly it was called. I'll also try googling and see if I can some up with something - if I do I'll certainly let you know. I remember it was quite tricky maneouvering all the vehicles around to let the marked car exit - the further the game went, the more difficult it became - it's one of those logical games...

Anyway, whoever does come up with the game can let the other one of us know. i tell you, today's youngsters are so clued up with this new technology - I have six little great-grandkids, and the ony girl among them, little Angeline, now nine, has her own BLACKBERRY phone which she is totally at home with - me, I'm still trying to navigate my way through Windows 7, and as for my cellphone - I have a very simple Nokia, and I'm happy if I can send and receive SMS's and calls - but as for the rest - I'm afraid I'm just too old - I think...
