Well, I have been having quite the problems with my computer lately. I didn't have a firewall for about 4 months, so I was doomed from the start, but now I have one, so that problem is fixed. However, even though I can keep out the stuff from outside, I can't get rid of the stuff from the inside.

I did in fact go through the READ & RUN ME FIRST portion, and I did use VundoFix AND Spybot - Search and Destroy. All of my problems were deleted, except for one portion, and that is the Virtumonde. This thing is seriously getting in my way, and regardless of how many times I get rid of it, it always comes back, no matter what. VundoFix does not work, Spybot - Search and Destroy temporarily gets rid of it.

I need your help very much. I just recently installed and ran ComboFix, and I do have the log attached. It would be appreciated if you helped me with this because I need to get to some sites, but with this thing in the way, my access is always blocked and I get pretty frustrated.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

You need to complete all of the instructions in the main body of the READ & RUN ME. That is skip the special removal procedures. VundoFix will not help with current vintages of Vundo. After running ALL steps in the READ ME in the order written, attach all of the requested logs which for your Windows version are the below:

    • SASlog.txt log from SuperAntiSpyware.
    • Malwarebytes Anti-Malware log
    • ComboFix.txt (normally C:\ComboFix.txt)
    • MGlogs.zip - normally it is C:\MGlogs.zip - only attach this log from MGtools.exe DO NOT attach any logs seen in the MGtools folder.

It took awhile, but I did what you said. I did the READ & RUN ME, and I made a log of everything you asked for.

Here are the first two logs:

Here are the other two logs. I did run ComboFix again so it's more current.

Here is something for you to do while I'm making a fix. The below files do not belong in this folder. I suggest you move them somewhere else if you need them. Otherwise delete them.
    Code:
    2003-03-23 04:51 4,796,416 ----a-w C:\Program Files\nemu64.exe
    2003-03-23 00:44 0 ----a-w C:\Program Files\LemD3DCombine.new
    2003-01-31 18:05 89,083 ----a-w C:\Program Files\LemD3DCombine.dat
    2002-09-07 16:39 17,018 ----a-w C:\Program Files\nemu64.ini

After taking care of what I posted in message # 6, continue with the below.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_03
    Java(TM) 6 Update 3
    Java(TM) 6 Update 5

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {80EF6CE9-ED1E-4E18-9FC0-1A05493CD0C3} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\iifefcyx.dll (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: {5ddf5deb-ece2-f99b-1164-b8c71ebfabcd} - {dcbafbe1-7c8b-4611-b99f-2ecebed5fdd5} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ksitnrbl.dll (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {DF3C1E39-11F2-447C-AA06-3B3731ADD078} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ljJCuULC.dll (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FCDD2190-EDD2-4952-A882-123725A12A6A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\xxywXqqn.dll (file missing)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTTask.exe" -atboottime
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [OrderReminder] C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\OrderReminder\OrderReminder\OrderReminder.exe
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: tuvWqNET - tuvWqNET.dll (file missing)

I also advise that you fix the below! You should not always have this running. Run it only when you need it
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [BitTorrent] "C:\Program Files\BitTorrent\bittorrent.exe" --force_start_minimized

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now we need to use ComboFix to remove a bunch of malware files.
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below quote box into it:
    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below
    Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixme.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    Now run Ccleaner!

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it.

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\ComboFix.txt
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    Your logs are clean.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop & renamed it like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\cf" /u
        • Notes: The space between the cf" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\cf folder from combofix.
    2. If we used SmitFraudFix, you can delete all files and folders related to it now including the c:\rapport.txt log.
    3. If we used VundoFix, you can delete the VundoFix.exe file and the C:\VundoFix Backups folder and C:\vundofix.txt log that was created.
    4. If we had your run FixWareOut, you can delete the Fixwareout.exe file and the C:\fixwareout folder.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    7. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    8. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Wooo. Thank you so much sir. Now my computer is running perfectly fine, and Spybot - Search and Destroy have found no traces of Virtumonde at all. I thank you once again, and if I could, I would give you a hug, hahaha. Just kidding, but I am pretty happy. Thank you very much. :D
