please help me

I have a Inspiron 1100 laptop & my son changed the master password & now I can not get into the computer. I have talked to dell & they keep telling me they will email me the password but I still have not received it.:cry

Would anybody have the master password for this please.

You could ask your son or you could try "Dell" as the password (without the quotes).

 

I did ask my son & he doesnt remember. I did try dell & it did not work

 

What BIOS software does your Dell use? ie Award, Ami, Phoenix

 

I dont know. I cant pull anything up to find out.

OK. But when your PC first boots it will normally tell you on screen what (BIOS) software it is using - just the name will do for starters.. What you have indicated is for the video card.
