PLease Help my sound DRive is not working!!

SO I restarted my computer and installed Windows XP Home Edition
and I was having problems with the video card and the sound driver. But I was lucky to fix the video part but my sound drive is still not working.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME!! THIS IS ALL MY INFO ON MY MOTHERboard!!!

I HARD YOU GUYS WERE LIKE TH BEST IN FIXING THINGS ON OTHER FORUMS! =]

What is the make, model #, service tag #, etc. of your machine?

And, did you format/reinstall Windows, or is this a repair installation?

Hi

As your Eveest log was a custom one and some info is missing, we would need to know your Service Pack version for XP (can find this by right clicking My Computer and choose Properties)

btu could also run the below from what I gleaned from your log.

Install the Intel 845 Chipset from HERE and reboot once installed.

Then install the UAA High Def audio driver from HERE (if you have XP SP1 or SP2), if you have SP3 then you have this driver already (but still tell us what Service Pack you have), then install the Realtek ALC658 driver from HERE and reboot and then test sound.
