Please help, really stuck!

Hello, I am really new to this sort of thing, but Iknow something is seriously wrong with my comp!

I followed all the instructions (to the best of my ability)

sorry, forgot to post the problem!

After about 5 minutes my tool bar blinks and goes from a blue background to a grey one. The font is also different. It almost looks retro, like an old version of Windows.

My Media Player stops playing sound. It works fine for 5 minutes, or 3 MP3s or so, then the problem starts up.

I get the following message when I click "web help"

"You've encountered error message C00D11BA while using Windows Media Player. The following information might help you troubleshoot the issue. "
