Please Help!Sims 2 Custom Content Problems

Hi,
Please help!Ive had the sims 2 and all the expansion packs for a while and have downloaded before but due to a real house fire - i lost all my sims on my computer and so had to get a new computer which i re-uploaded all my games. The problem is that ive downloaded a few things for my game now and when i went on it only showed up some of the houses and some of the objects id downoaded. And wen i went into create a family none of the make up, hair, clothes or pets i had downloaded were there. Im confused as i did exactly what i did on my other computer and it worked then. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!
