PLEASE HELP--- System32.exe

everytime I start my computer, it gives me a message saying "system32.exe" is attempting to connect, and I have to hit cancel two times for that message to go away.

Theres a file in the windows prefetch folder called "system32.exe-pf", should I delete it?

If that file isnt the problem, where can I find the real one and how do i get rid of it?

First, please start off by running the following online scans, attaching any logs from the scans.

TrendMicro Online Scan
Bitdefender online scan
RavAntivirus online scan <-- select Auto Clean then click Scan My PC
TrojanScan online scan
Panda Online Scan

After you complete all of the above scans, reboot and procede with the next step:

I dont have winzip on my computer, is that what you mean with 'zip'?

and Im sorry to be a pain, but Im not sure I know what Im doing because im not much of a computer person. do those scans and things have directions that come with them?

 

The online scans are pretty much self explanatory, just follow the instructions on the site.

Download WinZip 9.0 SR-1
