    Hi all! I'm begging for some help here...

    I've done what I can from the Read and run me first stickie, but couldn't complete all steps.

    All of these were done from safe mode, as I can't regular boot without getting a BSOD with "Page fault in non-page area" error.

    I deleted what I saw from the Add/remove programs.

    I couldn't update Java as my browser wouldn't let me - matter of fact, Firefox won't open and I'm using Safari through an anonymizer to access this website. It's the only way I can.

    Normal start-up can't be selected - it's greyed out.

    Spybot and AdAware don't allow me to get updates. They also don't find anything. SuperAntiSpyware and Malware Bytes can't run in safe mode.

    I didn't download MGTools as I can't see my C: drive and had no way to download to it.

    I previously had SpyBot with Teatimer installed and can't figure out how to turn it off.

    For Combofix, I followed the instructions to run it, but when executing the info in the Run box, I get an error message that it can't be found.

    Please help, I'm not sure what else to do...

    In safe mode you can't "see" your C dirve? If so, download MGTools.exe to the desktop and run it from there.....and attach the MGLogs.zip (search for it if you can't "see" it) ..after doing:

    First Disable Spybot's TeaTimer as requested in the READ ME

    * Run Spybot and click Mode
    * Select Advanced Mode.
    * Then click Tools and select Resident.
    * Now in the right window pane, uncheck TeaTimer.
    * Also while this is open, in the left column now select IE Tweaks
    * and then in the right pane make sure all the Miscellaneous locks are unchecked.
    * Now quit Spybot!

    Thanks for your response! I have disabled Tea Timer - just couldn't figure it out before.

    As far as MGtools, I ran it, but when I search for the log, I get a message along the lines of "C: is not a valid location." I'm unable to find the log anywhere. I only have one hard drive, and no external storage. Obviously it's still there, just seems to be inaccessible.

    I also now have "Virus Alert!" in my taskbar.

    Any further suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

    Ok...did you do a search for it?. Let's try this...download ComboFix to the desktop and double click it...let it run...see if that produces a log for you.
