Please help!! Ypager caused error in MSVCR71.DLL (constantly)

I'm using Win Me, and have Yahoo 6.0.
For the longest time now I constantly get booted off Yahoo messanger and recieve this message:
Ypager has caused an error in MSVCR71.DLL. Ypager will now close.
This doesnt happen at the same time, could be on for a long time or short. It has something to do with using cams . Could only have one on, definitely happens when have two cams on or as soon as one of them is turned off, different periods of time, but its inevitable!!!!!
This not only happens to me but many others I talk to. Thought if someone here could help me out, in turn I could help them. it also freezes up my entire system sometimes and I have to reboot by Ctrl-Alt-Delete only.
Please Help!!

 

How long has this been going on? Before it started, could you use both webcams? Have you tried a clean install of Yahoo!IM? It might be that the version you are using is not compatable with ME, try an older version. Does this happen if you do not use the webcams, just using YIM? Its been so long I can't even remember when it began. Im not sure if there was time when I could use any cams; one or two, without this happening. It does happen when not using cams at all, sometimes the error messages show up, there have even been times when the cams just turn off all on their own with no messages. I could turn cams off, be talking to someone else, never use cams and still freezes up and gets an error message. Im sorry if this all seems confusing. Frustration is typing...
I've completely deleted yahoo many times. Downloaded older versions and tried them. Downloaded newest version over and over.(thinking was corrupt or faulty download.) Still get it.
Computer is clean, I had just been through the HijackThis forum help.
Yes, it is just with YIM. Does not effect in MSN messenger.
I downloaded that DLL from that site but what do I do with it? I did a search for it and YIM file already has one? You've lost me there.

The MSVCR71.DLL that is in the Yahoo messenger file is version 7.10.3077.0; the one you had me download is 7.10.3077.0. Whatever any of that means, am I suppose to delete the older DLL and replace it with this newer one? you thinkin this will fix it? (Im such a computer idiot )

 

could someone PLEASE help me with this DLL problem, is anyone out there?

 

Uninstall Yahoo Messenger and delete the yahoo folder and reinstall.
