Please help

I have set up a bunch of new PC's for one of our libraries and this one in particular has been really screwed up. I've had to reinstall the operating system twice in two days due to software conflicts etc (not entirely my fault).

Here are some of the errors in my event viewer

Windows was unable to load the registry. This is often caused by insufficient memory or insufficient security rights.

DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format. for C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\ntuser.dat


Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a registry file format.


Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off.

I don't believe your problem is malware related, I would post this in the Software Forum without the HJT log.
