please Help!!

hello all...

Im not sure where to start first but after returning home from work to find my son had been playing on my computer I tried to log on to my user account but the computer froze as windows was loading.
So I rebooted by hitting the power off and on switch now it keeps rebooting itself just before it gets to the log on screen Ive tried using the last kown working configuration setting and tried starting in safe mode but same thing keeps rebooting itself over and over.
not sure if its a virus but I hope someone can help.

thanks for your response DomLuc but if only I had read this thread before I did the only option I thought at the time was the only thing left for me to do.( reformat and reinstall ).. my bad!!
But luckily I had backed up most of my files and stuff on a usb stick. So I guess it was'nt a total lose for me

BTW I did try pushing the F11 on reboot only to find in your thread the F10 button I needed...:-o again my bad!!
