? please, keep ZonePro or AVG mail scanner active?

Hello,

Due to me activating ThunderBird, AVG has activated it's mail scanner n active in Zone in listening mode (active program on Zones status bar on top)

? is, ZonePro has active mail scanner. I like Zone n AVG but one has to go n can't get enough info to make an informed choice. Find a lot of info but too many different opinions.

AVG has more error problems listed but more users, updates def. daily.

ZonePro has less errors reported but less users, does not update daily.

Should I keep the ZonePro or AVG active?

Mailsafe from ZoneAlarm is something to be use in addition to your antivirus application. It is not a replacement for it. It even tells you that in ZoneAlarm. Read the info on the Email Protection tab

Hi Chaslang,

Sry, I phrased wrong. Was not going to turn off AVG Antivirus or Zone Firewall, just one of the email scanners (add ons) I have 2 that want to scan the mail at the same time.

Please re-read what I said. I know you were talking about the email protection and that is what I'm referring too. What is in ZA Pro is a supplement to you antivirus program's email scanner.
