Please look at this log and quick question

I recently accidentally downloaded security tool which is a rogue security program. MBAM seemingly took care of it, but will you take a look at this log anyway? I included the longer log which removed the infected files, then another scan afterward which was clean.

Hijack This also reported that the hosts file access was denied or redirected or something so I included that too. No idea what that means...

Also, can a virus on Windows 7 infect Ubuntu which installed on another partition of my hard drive?

Your host file is fine. But if you want us to do a thorough check of your system, you need to follow the instructions here: READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

I doubt any infection in windows will cross over into Ubuntu.

Actually the last two lines should not be commented out. The below lines:

# 127.0.0.1       localhost
# ::1             localhost
should be uncommented by removing the # sign so they look like below:

127.0.0.1       localhost
::1             localhost
HijackThis will be denied access to the hosts file in Win 7 unless you disable UAC and reboot. And then you also need to use Run As Administrator when running HijackThis.
